WHO IS THE MAN IN THE SYNAGOGUE?
For those who might have wondered in the time past what TB Joshua’s title “the man in the synagogue“ was all about, this is just one of the many clues TB Joshua is leaving behind as to his true spiritual nature which can clearly be found in the book of Mark chapter 1. I suggest reading the whole chapter for what the man in the synagogue clearly stands to represent. It’s a biblical fact that Jesus Ministered in the Jewish synagogues while also adding that His House shall be called a house of prayer for all Nations” so to us, it’s too much of a coincidence that this church is named the synagogue church of all Nations.
But if this seems all too normal for “just a prophet” to do to you, could you also tell us; In what sense is he “just a prophet” whose birth was prophesied? (click the link to view the prophecy), who gestated for fifteen months, who has disciples (actually calling them disciples) following him wherever he goes amongst whom he’s raised some to be apostles giving them the power to heal, deliver and prophesy on the same level as him? And whose healing and deliverance power on earth has no equal? How is it a coincidence also that TB Joshua emerged from Nigeria, known worldwide for notoriousness, Just as Nazareth from which Jesus emerged was so reputed for notoriousness, that Philip asked if anything good could come out of it?.How much of a coincidence does it seem that the greeting in SCOAN is “emmanuel” the name of the messiah? Does it also seem a product of mere chance to you that his apostles are called the WISE MEN, the same Jesus said he would send in Matt: 23:34?, or mere chance that the PFN of Nigeria (Pharisees Federation of Nigeria) have refused him membership, punishing any Pentecostal minister who associates with him just as the Pharisees did to Jesus in His day? In what sense is it coincidence that His name happens to be Joshua, which is also translated Jesus in Hebrew? And we could go on and on.
The manner in which he fits into the messiah’s profile is far too overwhelming an evidence in itself, that it makes you wonder why anyone would question so much evidence, We understand how this must be a lot to take in, but it’s the reality, Just as the reality of Elijah’s return was the appearance of yet another totally separate and distinct Prophet of God, John the Baptist, so also is the reality of the messiah’s return in the appearance of the Man in the Synagogue if we are willing to accept it.
And just as the truth of Elijah’s return as John the Baptist was unknown to the Jewish people anticipating his return, the truth of the messiah’s first coming unknown to the Jewish people awaiting him coming, so also is the truth of the messiah’s return as the man in the synagogue unknown the Christian populace awaiting his coming until perhaps after he leaves with his people.
As a matter of fact, this scripture is fulfilled in our generation today. “...among you stands someone whom you do not know“. (John 1)
TB Joshua stands amongst us today but do we know Him? Do you? People keep going on about he claims to be only a servant of Christ, Not the healer but only knows the healer, and others (all to be modest, he has to be) but they forget that almost every service day, TB Joshua chastises us for not seeing enough about him, and not knowing enough about him beyond his physical nature, everyone knows he constantly emphasizes how he’s more than he physically appears to be, yet no one considers it at all.

It is true that TB Joshua has never claimed to be Christ, which some have emphatically stated on this site and stood upon as a point to refute this theology, because despite being asked directly, TB Joshua has blatantly denied being Christ on several interviews, but this becomes really nothing to go by, considering that John the Baptist also blatantly denied being the Elijah who they were expecting, when he in fact was (John 1:21).
Besides Jesus said he wouldn’t bear witness of himself, because his own testimony of himself would not be valid, so don’t expect TB Joshua to directly admit this, neither will he accept our testimony here because as it is also written of him; he does not accept man’s testimony about man.
But surprisingly to those who hold that TB Joshua is a prophet, that’s just your personal opinion; TB Joshua has never really claimed to be a prophet. Ever wondered why when his name is written on the ministries items like the frame, sticker or anointed water , it’s written just “TB Joshua” without the title of “prophet”?. His only reference to the name prophet by which he is usually addressed, is that it’s the name we choose to address him by, but what he never called himself .you should have heard him say so a couple of times if you’re an ardent viewer of emmanuel tv. So who then is he with such a powerful divine mandate and spiritual status on the earth? Since he himself won’t tell the world, the only option left to uncover the mystery of his identity is to look at the evidences which bear witness of his heavenly lineage and descent.
In addition to the many other proofs we formerly presented which you may disregard as our personal opinion, here’s another straight from his very lips.
On a certain interview TB Joshua made His mission statement known, twice in the same interview he stated it, yet neither the interviewer nor readers considered it at all. Perhaps its meaning was hidden from them but it’s a secret we would reveal here as another infallible proof that unravels the mystery of the identity of the man in the synagogue.
What should be the mission of a pastor or apostle on earth? As is expected, one would think he would say he was sent to win souls, or to preach the gospel or at least something of that nature but he spoke of the nature his mission on earth and it turned out to be way out of the league of any apostle or prophet in history.
He said in response to a question that His mission on earth was to set people free from Sin. Hmmmm! Who on earth is he who sets people free from sin? ……. And while you might be thinking to yourself that in saying this he spoke out of turn or something, He said again in response to a second question that His mission is to give Abundant life.

O My God!. T.b. Joshua. I knew you were more than a natural man, i knew you were more than a pastor/prophet or an apostle etc. I Believe you. Many may not but i won’t blame them coz when Moses was in the midst of the people they never really believed He was their saviour, when Jesus was in their midst, they never also believed him until He left. Infact they were busy praying to Moses while the saviour was with them. It can’t be any different now. You are the man in THE SYNAGOGUE!

In the meantime, below are a few prophecies regarding the “Day of the Lord”, spoken about so often in Scripture, when the Lord would come back to judge the earth, i.e. Jesus’ second coming. The fascinating thing is that the more you read all the prophets like Isaiah, micah, amos, say about that day, the more you review what Jesus Himself said in the gospels about that day, you start to get a picture of whats going to happen prior to His return.

So, just prior to Jesus coming back –
-The land of Israel will be overrun by the “Assyrian”, or “Gog”, more commonly known as the antiChrist – a coalition of nations gathered to attack israel, coming from the north. (interestingly, the Mehdi, whom Muslims are waiting for, is supposed to capture Jerusalem for Islam once and for all)
-Jerusalem shall be captured, there will be alot of killing, raping, plundering and captivity.
-Then shall the Lord come, rescuing the city from annaihlation, destroying this army and the leader with a series of…..
-fire and brimstone, possibly similar to how Sodom and Gomorrah perished
- the worst earthquake in history, felt throughout the earth, prolly the same one which split the mount of olives mentioned in Zehcariah
- enormous hailstones, mentioned in the Gog account, repeated in Rev 16
-A lot of darkness, the sun and moon and stars being darkened
-Trumpets (as strange as this sounds, I’m inclined to believe literally audible trumpets, like the Hebrews heard at Mt Sinai which scared them to death)
-Jesus will descend on the Mount of Olives, and that mountain will split in two.
-mentioned twice is the stench of the corpses from this army.
-emphasised a few times is that there will never be a time like this before or in the future.
Its the same story told again and again all throughout the prophets, told in the most detail in the infamous ezekiel 38-39 – and right in the midst of that account, speaking of the antichrist we have this –
” Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?” (v11)
The Assyrian. That Wicked. Son of Perdition. Man of Sin. King of the North. Gog. Antichrist. The Lawless One. “Gog, are YOU not the one who all My prophets have been speaking about?”
His death is repeated throughout the bible, and repeated again in 2 Thessalonians. Jesus kills him, by the brigthness of His coming, and the breath of His mouth. Apparently, simply by showing up
My question is this. If Jesus HAS already come again, aka TB Joshua…why has none of this happened? Isreal has not been invaded. The Antichrist has not taken over all these nations. Jerusalem has not been captured. When does TB Joshua rescue Israel? Who does TB Joshua kill with the brightness of his coming, and the breath of his mouth?

If all the signs of the hour of His second coming you mentioned are true, it also means this is also true:
34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
And you and I know that the generation present in Jesus day is now ancient history, this implies that all you quoted as signs of His coming have already happened unnoticed, unless of course Jesus lied. And what was that about all these being fabricated again?
I have a feeling they’re going to play the old “who can know what the Bible really means” card on this one.

thanks for coming. One thing you must realise is that we are humans/natural being who are in the dark about the things of the Holy Spirit. Unless God Almighty opens His wisdom unto us, we cannot tell how God wants His prophecies to come to fulfilment. We have seen many biblical prophecies that later turned out to be parables. Just acknowledge the fact that we are mare mortals in the dark of God’s wisdom and understanding. We certainly cannot tell the mind of God concerning any prophecy unless it is revealed by God. Do you actually believe mountains will be thrown down,the sun will turn dark,the moon into blood,the stars withdrawing their light etc before the coming of christ?..

Yes Doi, I do believe that in the future the sun will be darkened and that the “world will stagger as if a drunkard” (isaiah).
I also believe that the sun actually went backward during Hezekiah’s rule, and that the sun stood still for Joshua. I do believe the Red Sea parted, literally, that the Jordan River was parted, literally, that Mary was a virgin, literally, that Jesus was raised from the dead, literally.
I ask you the same question – do YOU actually believe this? I do.
My point is just because future events seem “far fetched”, does not mean that they are not literal. Its certainly far fetched to believe that the earth will throw out the dead, mentioned in Dan 12 and 1 Cor 15, but again, I believe this will happen – just like it happened on a smaller scale when Jesus died. Literally.

before God opens His wisdom to us, we must possess His Spirit. But unfortunately most people confess they possess this Spirit, when they actually don’t.
Now In response to your question. YES! I believe the sun stood still for Joshua and that the river Jordan was parted and so on. But those were mighty miracles of God through His servants not PROPHECIES. But to believe what would happen in future will be exactly as it is written? I DOUBT! DO YOU? How sure are we that the ‘sun will be darken’ actually means literal darkness? The Isreal you emphasize will be invaded, how sure are you that it will particularly be the same Isreal we know of today? Remember then we never had countries like America, Nigeria, Zimbabwe etc..

Well, this is off topic from TBJ being God, but it does address what you said about “being in the dark” regarding prophecies, and confusing pictures. I know where you’re coming from. For years the two main parts of the Bible I never quite understood are the prophets, especially Daniel, and…..you guessed it, revelation. What on earth is the mark of the beast, and prostitues sitting on mountains and horns and little horns and wine and mystery babylon? absoultely clueless. Until I read a book, I highly recommend it – the Islamic Antichrist, and the Mideast Beast, by Joel Richardson.
In a nutshell, all this endtimes stuff, this “world leader”, this “world religion”, this “false prophet”, etc….its all abut Islam.
Read Dan 2. The statue? chest of silver, persia. torso of bronze? greece. legs of Iron? Islamic Caliphate.(kingdom of Islam, began by Muhammed. its headed by a Caliph, sort of like a pope, general and president all in one) The two divisions, left and right – Sunni and Shia. Its not Rome. Rome never conquered Babylon. Persia Greece and Islam did.

If you read dan 7 with rev 13. We have the same beast. The beast John saw was made up of all the beasts Daniel saw. It had parts of the leopard (greece), bear (persia) and lion (babylon). So this future kingdom, symbolised by this animal was made up of the old greek, persian and babylonian empires. Today, all that land is Islamic.
What does 1 john say? “who is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son…”
For a Muslim to admit that Allah has a son is the worst possible thing you can do. Ask a Muslim. He’ll tell you. Allah is also not a father (like we are all children of God).
What does Daniel 11 say about this Antichrist (here referred to as the king of the North)

What about the “False Prophet”, in Revelation? whats that about? Here you need a bit of Islamic insight. Muslims believe, like us, that in the last days, Jesus will come again. They call him Isa. He’s not going to be Jesus. Isa will, they claim, come saying he was never crucified, never claimed he was the Son of God, and wa a muslim all along. He will tell the world to follow the number one Islamic future figure- the Mehdi.
All Muslims are waiting for the Mehdi. He will be the future Caliph, ruling the restored Caliphate. The Mehdi is the Beast. The False Prophet is Isa. Just as in Revelation, the False Prophet directs people to submit to the Beast, Isa will direct people to submit to the Mehdi.

But did he actually mean armies with guns surrounding the whole Jerusalem? Jesus’ words are always in parables remember? Two great prophets must come to rescue the Jews before Jesus comes.And with the preachers – 144 000 for the Jews redemption.
