Edmund Amartey – A Culprit Behind Anti TB Joshua Blog Exposed

Mr Edmund Nii Ayiku Amartey, a regular contributor on one of the anti- SCOAN blogs – TB Joshua watch, who goes by alias Mr Terrific has shifted now to Ghana web where he publishes articles under the pseudonym “NII AYIKU” as a revenge for his failure at the SCOAN. Failure? Yes, Mr Amartey Ayiku’s dubious character was exposed during 1996 and 1997, when TB Joshua had his first international crusade held at the Kaneshie Sports Complex in Accra. He had used his position at that occasion to extort money from unsuspecting worshippers who did not know that TB Joshua does not charge for the services he renders through the anointing God has bestowed upon him. Most of the people he had duped are still in the Ghana branch of The SCOAN and are ready to confront him should he try to deny those allegations thinking that the truth had been buried within the sands of time.

he sold in Accra Ghana. He tried as much as he could to become a disciple of TB Joshua but his sneaky attitude would not endear him to the heart of the prophet.

Recent publications on the internet by Nii Ayiku brought back memories of who this faceless writer is and why his words are so acidic towards TB Joshua and his ministry. Below is one of such strong worded statement.

“Enough is enough ! T B Joshua has more blood of Ghanaians on his hands and it is time to deal with this Nigerian criminal and his gang of rogues in Ghana, who claim to be pastors and prophets. It is time to disband the Synagogue church of Satan in Ghana”

It is unfortunate that insignificant people like Nii Ayiku Amartey with a track record of failures in every aspect of life would try to apply every possible cheap method to make themselves look relevant. One should have expected that such a person who had once come close to the corridors of salvation and breakthrough should humble himself and persevere in knocking at the door of salvation until he finally arrives at a point where God will look at his determination and hearken to his plea for mercy and save him. But because Ayiku Amartey falls into the category of those who come to Christ for the loaves and the fishes, he is impatient to wait for God’s time. These are the kinds of people that one would liken to the dog that death prevents from perceiving the aroma of the excreta till it is doomed.

Prophet T.B. Joshua is used to preaching that we need to use our goodness to change the bad we see in others.

• What has Ayiku Amartey done to change the bad he sees of TB Joshua?
• What effort has he or members of TB Joshua Watch done to deliver TB Joshua from the alleged involvement in the occult as they claim?
• Would Jesus allow occultist to be calling his name for the past 20 years and consistenty performing works of miracle without exposing his hypocritical ambition? What was Jesus’ response when He was accused of being part Beelzebub? The same response is pertinent today to the likes of Ayiku Amartey.
• TB Joshua critics, can’t you see clearly that the more you persecute TB Joshua the more his ministry is getting bigger and successful in terms of God’s anointing as is evident with people that come to The Synagogue, Church of All Nations from all over the world?
• Was it not the recent antagonism aimed at undermining TB Joshua and the New Anointing Water and Stickers he had just introduced, that paid off by rather attracting tens of thousands of devotees to abandon their churches to attend The SCOAN in Ghana last week?
• Many of the people who write comments on articles posted on the internet don’t even know TB Joshua yet they persecute him. To such ignorant persons, we can only pray that the Lord should forgive them for they know not what they are doing. It is our fervent prayer also that the Lord in his infinite mercy should open the eye of their hearts to have a glimpse of the Truth which, according to the Scriptures, will set them free from the bondage of satan.
• If TB Joshua could NOT be killed, when he was just born and the evil one sent a rock to fly from afar off to fall right on the place he was lying at his naming ceremony, then no amount of denouncement or campaign of calumny can bring him down.

Is TB Joshua Watch Dead?

Screaming at the top of their lungs that they’re not yet dead, but just been sleeping, they posted their latest article which was quite watery though, and by a long-shot their most laughable post so far, who’re they trying to convince? But as many would’ve noticed that for quite some time, awfully longer than expected, TB Joshua’s critics on TB Joshua watch,(a wordpress SCOAN critic site), have been dormant, a lot of TB Joshua’s supporters really hoped they had seen the last of their malicious posts, that perhaps by chance or fate they had given up on their utter deceit of the unsuspecting public out of realization of their wrongs , but it seems all the more clear now that criticizing and condemning is second-nature to them, a direct opposite of the love Christ said to show even to enemies.

They said they’ve been busy with their normal lives, family, loved ones and a bunch of other stuff they neglected while hotly chasing

TB Joshua. Surprisingly, after such heated and over-the-top antagonism of TB Joshua scales finally fall from their eyes and they realize the importance of family, presumably due to the complaints that arose from their families, which they may rather die than admit.  

sentiments aside now, who wouldn’t complain if he/she were family to these critics with the way persecuting TB Joshua turned their full time job?, with the rate at which they  committed their time to criticizing TB Joshua, one would really think they had neither families, nor jobs or even a life, any reasonable person wouldn’t be able to help wondering what sort of people would side-line their families to champion a course in persecuting a man they’ve never met, yet call him “fraudulent” solely based on hear-say, without an iota of proof, and then self-justify their actions as being out of love for the public whom they feel are supposedly being deceived.

Moreover, they also made one of the most revealing of statements in their post by adding that they would keep “exposing” TB Joshua’s ministry but at a “gentler” pace from hence, thus even they fully admit that the initial zeal with which they launched concerted attacks against TB Joshua’s ministry was very unhealthy and much to their detriment, as their families, friends and loved ones were indefinitely placed on hold, and being fully aware of this, they made a press release saying they would soften up and had no intention of giving up.

From all indications, having carefully followed their consistency in persecuting TB Joshua and SCOAN, and the way they suddenly went AWOL, it’s obvious that their “would-soften-up” philosophy is a lame excuse to cover up the fact that they were out of ammunition, having run low on their reserve of lies, their latest post seems more like a baseless persuasion than the stark reality, we really look forward to what else they have to say regarding TB Joshua in the days ahead, without a doubt, it would be no more than a pack of exasperating lies as usual, but then what else should we expect from the successors of the Pharisees in Jesus’s day, other than to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors.

In his live church service on Sunday the 5^th of February 2012, TB Joshua of the synagogue church of all Nations, addressed the congregation and the world at large through Emmanuel tv on a vision God had given him concerning the Nation of India; in these words;

Pray for this country, India, I’m seeing a very huge bridge broken, and when a bridge divides into two what do you think would happen to the vehicles on top and everybody? Pray for India and this bridge is very close to the river, it’s like crossing the river and…” so please pray for the nation India, I’m seeing a breaking news, what is the cause of the breaking news, they said; this is a bridge divide and the people on top and everyone…” so please everybody be careful, the word is a global one now, so pray for the Nation India, Open your lips for prayer. I’m seeing this happen; they should take care on Thursday, Wednesday or Friday night. So I’ll still go into it but pray for this nation, it’s not this week anyway.

For the warning of all and sundry, particularly those in the nation of India, we’ve highlighted the key details of this prophecy which many critics, cynics and doubting Thomas’s may simply overlook only to cynically pass off the entire prophecy as vague, when it in real sense  contains very explicit and sharp details.

Firstly TB Joshua talks about the nature of the bridge in question being a very huge one,  secondly, he speaks in more detail of the nature of the bridge’s collapse in form of a question when he asks; when a bridge divides into two what do you think would happen to the vehicles on top and everybody? With such description, it becomes evident that this is clearly not a minor breakage; the expression “divides in two” in his question alone portends a very major disaster.

Thirdly, from that same question, and also towards the end of the prediction, he seems to suggest the bridge collapsing “when people and vehicles are on it” that definitely puts the lives of people walking on the bridge and driving on it in their vehicles in grave danger.

fourthly, he foretells the bridges’ location when he says, a bridge very close to the river, this would definitely help narrow down the search for this particular bridge, most likely crossing a river to get to, (he didn’t finish that statement) fifthly, the graveness of the

disaster as it would dominate world news headlines, when he said I see “breaking News” and the cause is a bridge’s divide, sixthly he talks of the day of the week this bridge  would collapse as within two days (Wednesday/Thursday) and one night (Friday).seventhly,  that the occurrence of this event wouldn’t be within this week. This presumably tells us of the closeness of the event in question, perhaps more closer than we think.

The implication of all these predictions for the present includes the need for humility from the nations in question not only in praying to avert the mishap, but also to inquire of God through the prophet for further details to ultimately pinpoint this bridge, you would be right if you would request more detailed answerers regarding this prophecy, or perhaps even its name and location on a map. but more important than answering these questions is asking the right ones, the right question King Jehosaphat asked in the bible needs to be asked again by our present world leaders;

 But Jehoshaphat said, “is there not still a prophet of the Lord that we may inquire of Him” 2 chronicles 18:6.

 He certainly as a king, had army generals, countless foot soldiers and chariots at his command alongside strategies of the best intellectuals of his day, even with all these he sought for the counsel of the prophet of the LORD.

As for this prediction of an Indian bridge collapse, with all these explicit and sharp details given, I personally am left with no other option but to believe for certain that he knows the bridge, of which he speaks of, but left the whole issue in the form of parables, knowing the sensitive nature of the disaster he speaks of. If you ask me he’s said almost everything and has given almost every detail except the name of the very bridge, which of course should be a concealed detail because of the nature of our world and society today, if he had mentioned such, he might even be accused of being the one responsible in the end as he was accused when Nigeria lost to Guinea in the African cup of nations.

Fake TB Joshua Branch in Harare EXPOSED!

PEOPLE suspected of running a fake branch of T.B Joshua’s Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Harare allegedly fled the country on Tuesday.

The alleged culprits are a white man identified as Eric and understood to be of Dutch origins and Shaleen Manhiri. This followed a statement on T.B Joshua’s blog and Emmanuel TV this week where the prophet disowned the branch housed at number 42 Goodrington, Sunridge. They used to operate from 7 Arts at Avondale Shopping Centre before moving to Sunridge where they are operating from a house that is understood to belong to Shaleen’s parents.
Faced with hostile victims, the two are understood to have flown to South Africa although they claimed that they would be travelling to Nigeria today to meet T.B Joshua over the matter. Yesterday people, who felt cheated, besieged the Sunridge office demanding refunds of between  US$1 700 and US$2 200 they were made to pay to visit T.B. Joshua at his Nigeria base. Apparently the “Harare office” facilitated the travelling of Zimbabweans to Nigerian and those intending to travel were also made to surrender their passports. Some claimed to have been waiting since last year in January.

H-Metro yesterday witnessed numerous people who were demanding explanations following the statement disowning the Harare branch.
Some of the allegations against the “Harare branch” were that they were charging US$50 to those who wanted anointed water, a T.B. Joshua cd and sticker.

Beware of “Fraudsters” In “Pastors” Clothing

While the statement from the Synagogue made it clear that the anointed water is NOT for sale, Zimbabweans were being told that it costs US$100 to get the water, two cds, two stickers when in Nigeria.
Also at the “Harare branch”, a picture frame of T.B. Joshua sells for US$50 for an A4 size and US$80 for those measuring 8×12.
While mineral water being sold for US$1 is not part of the anointed water, there are concerns that most people have been buying the water believing it to be from T.B. Joshua.
With Eric and Shaleen not available to deal with the angry people yesterday, the task was left for Sithembeni Nyanzira who was however, clearly overwhelmed by a combination of phone calls and visits.
She was forced to switch off the phone as she could not take further abuse from angry ‘members’.
She told people that the statement by the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations was not a true reflection of T.B. Joshua as he was ‘in the dark’ about events in Harare.
Sithembeni claimed that Zimbabwean pastors from unnamed local churches were the ones ‘bribing’ the SCOAN communications department.
“There are pastors here who think they are losing followers because of us and they have come up with a plan to stop us from operating.
“The prophet is not even aware of these developments. People in the (SCOAN) email department are the one manipulating the messages. That’s why Eric and Shaleen are travelling to Nigeria tomorrow to clear the air with the prophet.
“What is happening is not a surprise because it was even prophesised that we would face such trials. There are people out there who also want to be the local agents for T.B. Joshua and they are doing all they can to see us out,” she said.
Those who were anxious to know about Sunday’s service were advised to check with Sithembeni on Saturday.
“Call on Saturday to check if we will a service on Sunday as we are awaiting the outcome of the meeting in Nigeria between prophet and our representatives.”
Sources said yesterday people who attend the “Harare branch” services on Sundays start by hearing testimonies from those who would have ‘bought’ the ‘anointed’.
The members then watch the live broadcast of T.B. Joshua’s service from Nigeria.
As T.B. Joshua finishes the main service and attends to individual members in need of prayer, the “Harare branch” members will then get the US$50 anointed water, which often runs out.
H-Metro heard one such testimony yesterday from one lady who was there to confirm the genuinity of the SCOAN “Harare branch”, the anointed water and stickers.
She claimed that her car burst a front tyre but avoided a tragic accident.
“Makamboonepi mota inobursta front tyre at 120km/hr igomira pasina kana anokuvara…”
She believes the sticker and anointed water saved lives on the day and she was not blaming the two for causing the mishap in the first place.

How Scriptural Are TB Joshua’s Healing Methods?

The way and manner healings and miracles are wrought through TB Joshua has been a bone of contention for ages, some find it pretty amusing, others believe it isn’t at all scriptural but for the laying of hands, a point we addressed in our last post, while a quite a few hard-hearted cynics believe that such stretching of hands and feet at a patient whilst they respond to the gestures and movements of the prophet is an occult technique known as remote control, if this were true, then I guess TB Joshua isn’t the only occult member existent in the world, the others would have been working such wonders to the amazement of people in the fashion of TB Joshua since they belong to the same occult community, this makes it far from sensible that it’s a technique practiced in the occult. Whilst this issue lingers in the minds of these cynics at TB Joshua watch, it is a question that has already been answered on their site, but as proof that they do not seek answers but rather issues with which to paint TB Joshua black in the eyes of people they keep making reference to it even in the face of overwhelming scriptural evidence contrary to their views. @ Soe, ..I was saying about the shaking of the hands of T. B. Joshua, do you think this is a normal administering in spiritual matters? This you see in the occult a lot and those that practice it, also you see it in those that are in Kundalini, Shakti Pat practicing guru’s…

All this is going on while the announcer says Mal.3:6 in the background and telling the people this is surely the power of God.

How Biblical Is TB Joshua's Stretching of Hands to Heal?

Yes!, You would agree with me if you carefully study the bible that almost all of the great miracles in Egypt were wrought through Moses and Aaron’s stretching of hands as God instructed…

And the LORD said to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and STRETCH OUT YOUR HAND over the waters of Egypt,… so that they may become blood… ‘” – Exodus 7:19

So Aaron STRETCHED OUT HIS HAND over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt. – Exodus 8:6

 Then the LORD said to Moses, “STRETCH OUT YOUR HAND toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness to be felt. ” – Exodus 10:21

Then the LORD said to Moses, “STRETCH OUT YOUR HAND over the sea, that the water may come back upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. ” – Exodus 14:26. … and so on…

 Yet It is NOTEWORTHY to mention that it wasn’t the stretched hand of the prophets that wrought the miracles but the outstretched arm of God as Moses himself affirms: Who is like you O LORD ….You STRETCHED OUT YOUR RIGHT HAND; the earth swallowed them. – Exodus 15:11-12

 Thus they stretched out their hands physically as an expression of God’s unseen mighty hand stretched spiritually. As shown also in the scriptures where when Moses hands were raised towards the battle, the unseen hand of God was clearly fighting for the Israelites but when his hands were lowered- the unseen hand of God too was withdrawn-and the Israelites began loosing the battle

“Whenever Moses. “HELD UP HIS HAND”, Israel prevailed, and whenever he “LOWERED HIS HAND”, Amalek prevailed. – Exodus 17:11

 It is therefore logical to believe that The stretching forth of hands towards or over an object or person in prayer-was a method commonly used by some prophets in the Bible, that even Naaman the Syrian who wasn’t an Israelite was well acquainted with it and expected it to be done to him as well when he consulted Elisha:

 “But Naaman was angry and went away, saying, “Behold, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call upon the name of the LORD his God, and “WAVE HIS HAND OVER THE SPOT” and cure the leprosy”.. – II Kings 5:11 NIV

HE COULDN’T HAVE EXPECTED OR THOUGHT OF THE PROPHET USING A METHOD HE HAD NEVER SEEN OR HEARD THEM USING!!!

 Note from the verses above: the “STRETCHING OUT, STRETCHING TOWARDS, HOLDING UP, RAISING, LOWERING AND WAVING OF HANDS” over an object or person in prayer which is a perfect fit with what TB Joshua and the wise men do today Being prophets of THE MOST HIGH GOD. And not just them if I may add, but also some other Pastors and prophets can be seen also stretching hands in like manner- as it was, so it is.

A pretty satisfying answer if you ask us, unless for those who aren’t seeking answers in the first place, like the pharisee authors at TB Joshua watch but rather concocted stories to further slander the name and ministry of  TB  Joshua, as for the SCOAN supporters who didn’t know before, at least you have an answer to give now if you’re asked why TB  Joshua stretches forth his hands the way he does.

TB JOSHUA’S MIRACLES; BY WHAT AUTHORITY AND HOW CAN WE TELL?

 A very interesting comment was also made on the TB Joshua watch Blog, which is interesting because it rings a bell as it  makes us remember the same question Jesus was asked about the source of his powers and by what authority he operated, here are the series of questions;

 The question majority of these critics ask clearly show them to be Pharisees, as it is no different from what the Pharisees asked Jesus and the Apostles when the power at work through them became obvious and undeniable:

 After this, the religious leaders of the day seized the apostles and demanded, “By what power or what name did you do this?” (Acts 4:7).  In other words, they were asking,

“Who gave you this power? By whose authority did you do this?” The apostles replied, ”If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are Asked how he was healed, then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the Dead, that this man stands before you healed” (Acts 4:9-10).

As is typical of Pharisees, always calling the elect of God to account for acts of kindness; it’s no different with the Pharisees at TB Joshua watch today, calling TB Joshua to account for healings, deliverances, prophecies and works of charity. If they want to know by what authority TB Joshua is doing these things and are not clear on that fact then this text should settle it for them all.

Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. [One day] the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?” Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. (Acts 19:13-16)

From the above it’s clear that we don’t know the authority by which a prophet operates by what he says or by the Name Jesus He calls”- the seven sons of sceva were calling the Name Jesus as well but were far from operating under the authority and power in the Name. What gives us undeniable proof of the authority by which a prophet operates is the outcome of His encounter with opposite powers. In other words authority is known by encounter as Jesus Himself made it clear that “Satan cannot cast out Satan“ and as can be seen during the deliverance services with TB Joshua, satan, his agents and demons are no match for God’s power in the life of TB Joshua as he commands their submission each time they confront him. Surprisingly, TB Joshua watch seem to believe to the contrary, their belief is centered on the false assumption that what goes on in SCOAN is counterfeit exorcism, even when the demonized are clearly delivered and back to their normal selves, testifying to the goodness of God that has rescued them from the satanic forces that have held them down so long . Its clear they’ve suspended belief regarding any good in TB Joshua or the SCOAN, blind and deaf to any life changing testimonies of the pilgrims there and doubt every live programme attesting to God’s power in the life of TB Joshua on emmanuel tv,  it then becomes a fact that these critics do not see the happenings in SCOAN for what it is, but rather as they are, untrustworthy, untrue, deceptive, and cunning,  as a popular adage says; we really do see things, not as they are but as we are.
